text_orientation=&#8221;center&#8221; custom_margin=&#8221;16px|-15px||-5px||&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\" class=\"translation-block\">Since December 26, 2024, the Together for Life association has begun implementing the project: \u201cCitizens for Transparency: The Fight Against Corruption in the Albanian Health Sector\u201d, with financial support from the Albanian Helsinki Committee and the European Union.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\" class=\"translation-block\">Duration: 12 months (until November 2025).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\" class=\"translation-block\">Geographical Coverage: Nationwide, with specific activities implemented in the cities of Elbasan, Berat, and Shkod\u00ebr.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\" class=\"translation-block\">Project Objective: To increase transparency and accountability in the healthcare sector in Albania by promoting a culture of reporting corrupt practices.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><em>Expected Results:<\/em>:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<li>Reliable data generated on Albanian public perceptions of corruption in the healthcare sector.<\/li>\n<li>Increased interaction and dialogue among key stakeholders on corruption issues affecting the healthcare sector.<br \/>Enhanced understanding of how healthcare institutions respond to corruption complaints directed at them, identifying gaps and effective practices.<\/li>\n<li>Increased awareness and engagement of the Albanian public in reporting corrupt practices within the healthcare sector.<\/li>\n<li>Increased media attention on corruption in the healthcare sector.<\/li>\n<li>At least 10,000 Albanian citizens reached through awareness-raising activities (online\/in person).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\" class=\"translation-block\">Main Activities: The implementation of this project is organized into three main groups of activities:<\/p>\n<ol style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<li><strong> <\/strong>Assessment of Public Perception and Stakeholder Engagement:** Public Perception Assessment; Roundtable with key stakeholders to discuss the assessment findings; A press release.<\/li>\n<li><strong> <\/strong>Monitoring the Anti-Corruption Response of Key Healthcare Institutions in the Country:** A monitoring report on how healthcare institutions handle complaints related to corruption; a roundtable to present the report\u2019s findings; a press release; participation in a parliamentary hearing.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Mobilizing Citizens to Report Corruption in the Healthcare Sector :Promotion of the platform ,Transparency.com.al as a tool for reporting corruption in the healthcare sector;
