Together for Life Foundation
It is a non-political, non-governmental, and non-profit organization, established at the end of 2009 as an initiative of a group of journalists. TFL was founded as a membership-based association.
Its mission is to promote and protect the rights of individuals and vulnerable groups in society, to support families and communities, with the goal of fostering integration and improving the quality of life of individuals, families, and those in need — with a particular focus on children, youth, and women at risk or in need. TFL has undertaken a series of innovative and successful projects and activities.
It is recognized as one of the first and most prominent organizations in Albania dedicated to protecting patients’ rights. Over time, it has expanded its activities by contributing as part of civil society to the protection of human rights, with a particular focus on vulnerable groups, communities living in rural or economically disadvantaged areas, women, and youth.
Since its establishment, the Together for Life association has played an active role in fostering better socio-economic and cultural development in society through a rights-based approach. TFL has successfully managed and implemented projects on human rights, patients’ rights, labor rights, economic empowerment, and good governance, achieving notable results in these areas.
TFL is founded on the principles of transparency, teamwork, commitment, and efficiency, based on the values of development and the coordination of all stakeholders involved in the development process.
