How widespread do you think corruption is in Albania?

United Nations Association in Albania (UNAA)

United Nations Association in Albania (UNAA) It was founded in 2016 as a result of the shared determination of young Albanian men and women who refused to accept the existing conditions faced by youth in the country and the region. Guided by the UN principles of integrity, equality, solidarity, and inclusiveness, UNAA serves as a center of vision and action for a transformed Albania, a country that overcomes the lack of opportunities in education and employment, enhances youth representation in politics and public debates, and addresses the prevailing lack of confidence in their potential.

We oppose the marginalization of youth and youth policies, and we reject the idea that young people are powerless to bring about change. Such rhetoric undermines Albanian youth’s confidence in their ability to positively impact their country and communities, as well as to build a sense of belonging and trust in democratic institutions.

By building bridges with decision-making processes and social initiatives abroad, we strongly believe that the responsibility for shaping Albania’s future lies within its own borders. Our model fosters local talent and places trust in the abilities and dignity of Albanian citizens.
